Garlic Aioli

Another super recipe for my garlic lovers! This stuff is SO GOOD spread on bread for sandwiches or to enjoy on my garlic rosemary bread.

Tools You'll Need:

Food processor/blender

spatula

Measuring glass

Measuring spoons

Veggie knife/Paring knife

Cutting board

Ingredients

1 Large/Jumbo egg

2-3 Tbs water

1/2 - 1 head roasted garlic (See the recipe for my roasted garlic rosemary bread for how to do this)

1 1/4 Cups of avocado oil

~1/2 Cup Extra virgin olive oil

1 1/2 or a little more tsp of salt

Juice of 1/2 - 1 lemon

If you don't want lemon, try it with 1/2 - 1 Tbs of dijon mustard or stone ground brown mustard for a different flavor

Instructions

Peel the cloves of garlic and rough chop them. Crack the egg into your food processor and add the water and add the garlic. Blend on med/high until it turns frothy and white. Slowly drizzle the avocado oil in as the processor is still running. Then add the olive oil while it's running. Stop the processor. Add the salt and start with juice of one half of the lemon. Blend until mixed through and fluffy. The texture should be similar to mayonnaise. Taste... If you want more lemon flavor, add more lemon juice. If you don't want the lemon flavor, try using the mustard suggested above.

Use a spatula to spoon out your aioli into a bowl. Cover and store in the refrigerator or put straight out to be spread on your bread!

Mangia!
